Dr Dibyendu Banerjee

With over 36 years of clinical excellence, Dr. Dibyendu Banerjee is a pillar of fertility care in Eastern India. As Director of Ankuran IVF Clinic and Head of Gynaecology at Charnock Hospital, Kolkata, he has enabled over 26,000 births - bringing hope and joy to thousands of families through ethical, transparent, and deeply compassionate care.

Dr. Banerjee’s clinical focus spans IVF, ICSI, IUI and complete infertility management, high-risk pregnancy care, reproductive endocrinology and urogynaecology, fertility preservation, and third-party reproduction options such as egg/sperm donation and surrogacy - along with comprehensive women’s healthcare including adolescent gynaecology.

Known for integrity and honest counsel, his approach emphasizes minimal, evidence-based investigations, crystal-clear communication, and strong emotional support throughout the journey - helping patients and families make confident, well-informed decisions.

A respected leader and educator, he serves as a postgraduate DNB guide and mentors young doctors. He has held leadership roles with the Bengal Obstetric & Gynaecological Society and is recognized nationally for his longstanding contributions to women’s health.

He speaks English, Bengali, Hindi, and Assamese, ensuring comfort for diverse patient communities. Outside of clinical practice, he remains committed to training, women’s health advocacy, and social causes - always placing the patient’s well-being above everything else.
