Dr Jaydeep Tank
Dr. Jaydeep Tank is one of India's most respected voices in reproductive medicine, infertility care, and women's health. With over 25 years of clinical experience and more than 12,000 IVF procedures performed, he combines deep expertise with visionary medical leadership.
He is the Immediate Past President of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and Chair of the YGAA Committee at the Asia and Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOFOG). He previously chaired the FIGO Committee on Safe Abortion at the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, contributing significantly to global reproductive rights and access.
Dr. Tank has secured and led national public health projects with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, MK Hamied Foundation, and Koita Foundation, managing grants exceeding ₹62 crore. He was awarded the prestigious FRCOG (Honoris Causa) by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, UK.
As an educator and mentor, he has trained more than 50 fertility specialists and serves as visiting consultant to over a dozen IVF centres in India and abroad. He has played a pivotal role in shaping India's reproductive health landscape, including contributing to the MTP Act 2021 amendment.
